🌱🗑️ ♻️ Thank You to all the volunteers who helped on Saturday to CleanUP the Village and Trails ♻️🗑️🌱

Join the Cumberland Community Association, Cumberland Lions Club, 1st Cumberland Scouts & Cubs and the Ahmadiyya Ottawa Community/Baitun Naseer Mosque and our partner Cumberland based Cory D's Junk that Funk and a call out to the entire Cumberland Community to Volunteer and lend a hand with the Spring Village CleanUP.

⏰ Time: 9:30 am

📍 Where: Behind Maple Hall on Market St

Many hands make light work! 🤝 We’re looking for volunteers of all ages to help with this year’s Spring Village CleanUP.

Whether you have an hour or the whole morning, every bit helps.

✅ High school students: Get your volunteer hours 🎓 ✅ Families: A great way to get the kids outside! 🐣 ✅ Neighbors: Meet someone new while helping the community 👋

We’ll provide the bags, gloves and water ; you bring the Community spirit! ✨ See you there! 🏡

🌱High school students are encouraged to join us for the CleanUP to earn their mandatory community involvement hours! This event is a great opportunity to work toward the new 2026 Minister’s Certificate of Recognition for students exceeding the 40-hour requirement. Our CleanUp registration code is: #106803Please bring your volunteer forms for a signature from a CCA or Lions representative.

Once the Spring Village Cleanup wraps up, the CCA Wilsondale Trails Maintenance Crew is jumping into action—and we’d love your help!

⏰ Time: 12:30 PM

📍 Where: Meet at the Trailhead in the West Parking Lot of the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum (2940 Old Montreal Road).

🛠️ Do you and your family enjoy the Wilsondale Trails for dog-walking, a quiet stroll, a visit to the windphone, hiking, jogging, mountain biking, cross-country skiing or snowshoeing?

This is a great chance to meet your neighbors while giving back to the trails we love. 🎒 To help us get the paths in peak season shape, please bring:

🍎💧 Water & snacks

🧤🥾 Work gloves

✂️🌿 Clippers or shears

✨ Both the Cleanup and the Trail Work are CCA & Community Volunteer initiatives aimed at keeping our community beautiful.

Note to Dog Owners on Trail CleanUP Day 🐕🧹: Please keep your dogs on a leash 🦮 near work areas 🚧 for the safety of our volunteers 👷‍♂️ and your pups 🐾.
