Have you checked out the ski and snow shoe trails yet behind the museum. There are 4 loops you can do, one connecting through from the community centre. Parking is available at the museum or at the community centre.
Everyone is welcome to join an enthusiastic group of cross-country skiers and snoeshoers on the groomed trails from the arena to behind the museum. Please come and join us, no experience is necessary.
Vincent De Haître of Cumberland is just 19. He has been part of Speed Skating Canada’s development program and has raced in World Cup 1,500-metre events at Calgary and Salt Lake City, but even he concedes that the original plan had him targeting the 2018 Winter Games at Pyeongchang, South Korea.
