Canada Day at the Museum

On a bright but breezy Canada Day dozens of families visited the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum.  Many of them came to enjoy a picnic lunch, with a piece of Canada Day birthday cake and lemonade for dessert. Museum staff prepared many old-time games for the children to play, with croquet being one of the more popular ones. The animals were a big attraction, and the colourful flowerbeds around the grounds impressed many of the families.
